The history from which each of our dishes is born.
It all began in 1953 , when the owner's family decided to share their innate passion for good food with the people of the town. Thus was born the Antica Trattoria Maresca , located in Piazza delle Scarpe in Pistoia . 1968 was an equally important year, as the Osteria del Contadino was also founded, which is still open today and is considered a true institution in Montale . Among tables, laughter and good food, 2019 also arrives, the year of opening of the Cicceria Sale e Pepe , a “rustic-chic” tavern between Pieve a Nievole and Monsummano Terme. This place contains all the Tuscan culinary tradition of the family of historic restaurateurs, finally landed also on the tables of the Valdinievole.
